true real life heroes
B-24 airmen gathered here in Dallas for the
Second Air Division Association Reunion.
Pilots, Co-Pilots, Navigators, Radio Operators, Gunners
Aircraft mechanics...heroes all.
I had the opportunity to photograph and interview a number of these great men
for an upcoming book on these men’s stories of flying combat.
With all of the ongoing non-sense in our world at present, it was
humbling to be in a room full of great men!
Men that made this country great.
As we are loosing these men at the rate of 1000 a-day it is important
to hear these stories and be in the company of what is possible to the human spirit.

Dave, glorious faces captured so beautifully with your lens. We enjoyed visiting with all those veterans at their 61st Reunion and feel privileged to have witnessed their proud entry into the Banquet behind the Color Guard.
See you in England soon.

Dave,
great photos. It was a pleasure meeting these men. They don’t get enough credit and honor from our country. Our projects will do that. Good luck!

Dave...thanks!!! The picture of Dad captures him perfectly. That aerial lens really did the trick. I will cherish this photo and those of the other 2nd Air Division heroes.
