la querencia

This Spanish word “la querencia”
loosely translated describes an area
in the bullring where the fighting bull
will claim as his, he imagines it as
his sanctuary.

This project is not about the Grand
Plazas of Spain or Mexico, no…
this sanctuary to the art and
celebration of Fiesta Brava is deep
in the valley of South Texas.
Strength of character is drawn here
for the aficionado and consistently
